Subject: The 2018-19 Denver Jazz Club Youth All-Stars Are Having Rehearsal Sit-Ins For Their Final Vacant Banjo Spot

THE DJC YOUTH ALL-STARS are looking for a dedicated high school guitar, bass, or banjo player, or high school musicians interest in learning how to play banjo! (Professional instrument is free for the selected student, and private lessons are provided with some financial assistance)!

PLEASE LET ANY HIGH SCHOOL MUSICIANS KNOW WHO MAY BE INTERESTED IN JOINING OUR ALL-STAR BAND!!!!!!

REHEARSAL SIT-INS WILL TAKE PLACE Sunday, May 20th (6:30-9pm), at Denver Percussion (7399 S. Tucson Way, Suite B2, Centennial), and additional Sundays (6:30-9pm) until the vacancy is filled.

None of our performances or rehearsals ever conflict with school activities.

Please go to: http://www.bandresourcesunlimited.com/ for further information and to download the rehearsal sit-in materials.

The audition music and recording are posted at: http://www.bandresourcesunlimited.com/downloads/

Please contact Ed at: ecan11@msn.com or 303-328-7277 to schedule a rehearsal sit-in date and time.

Thanks for all your support,
Ed

You can now donate to the EHS Instrumental Music Program through PayPal!

Also consider donating to our two winter extracurrucular ensembles:

  • Indoor Percussion (or iPerc, for short) gives students a performance outlet that differs from anything else they do throughout the year. It offers them a chance at percussion oriented theatrical experiences that they can own. This has proven to work wonders in building morale and a positive work ethic, not to mention increasing the number of interested students in the percussion program in general.

  • Winter Guard is an indoor color guard activity involving synchronized dance with visual guard equipment to recorded music. Our Winter Guard performs at judged competitions culminating in State Championships in April.

All donations are tax deductable!

The most important thing I look for in a musician is whether he knows how to listen.
